Video: SEV-P - Pick & Place Screwdriving Applications for Robots

In this video, we are showing our SEV-P Pick and Drive Screwdriver. This particular unit showcases our tool change capabilities. We have two different types of engagement on our fasteners and this particular unit uses vacuum to pick the fasteners up from a specific position and then once it achieves a certain number of drives it can change the tooling out and pick the other engagement fastener and drive those.

  • An expandable tool-changing system allows a variety of different tools to be integrated and can be used with different screwdriving programs as required
  • The screwdriver has a flange as per ISO 9409-1-50-4-M6, suitable for adaptation to a variety of different lightweight robots
  • Vacuum technology allows the fastener to be picked up, guided reliably to the fastening point and fastened with the screwdriving spindle
  • Extremely compact design, the 6 Nm spindle weighs just 1.5 kg
