Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician. As a Weber Screwdriving Systems representative, you will travel to worksites and facilities to provide exemplary customer service; to preform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our systems. Our ideal candidate has an extensive range of experience completing mechanical repairs; and is proficient in reading schematics and operating hand tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide service and customer support while preforming installations, repairs, and maintenance

  • Identify technical problems and determine the solution, comprehending customer requirements

  • Maintain timely and detailed service reporting

  • Conduct training activities for both internal teams and external customers

  • Collaborate with Production and Design Team to ensure continuous improvement of technical knowledge

    growth

  • Manage customer expectations and provide an exceptional customer experience.

  • Backup production team members as well as Service Team Leader

 

Additional Duties:

  • Travel to local or international customers may be required for on-site support with flexibility for urgent travel requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adapt quickly to change

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Must be able to recognize priorities and have strong attention to

    detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong quality focus with attention to detail

  • Ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions

  • Additional duties as assigned

  • Ability to use various computer software systems to research technical information

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and technical specifications including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical design drawings. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Technical problem solving for mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems is required.
