Job Summary:

Join our team as a results-oriented Regional Sales Director to help us reach our future vision. You will play a crucial role in growing our business by exploring new opportunities, building strong relationships with current customers, and increasing our customer base by effectively communicating our value. In addition, you'll need to collaborate with and manage outside organizations to ensure successful partnerships.

You should take accountability for driving outcomes, meeting sales targets, and ensuring strong communication with all stakeholders. Additionally, you'll need to foster a collaborative and team-oriented culture, working effectively with colleagues, external partners, and customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and prospect potential new business through all sales channels.

  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, understanding the customer's needs and market trends.

  • Increase revenue by showcasing the company's value proposition and presenting a compelling business case to customers.

  • Manage and guide the performance of contracted Sales Representatives in the assigned territory.

  • Schedule customer visits, evaluate existing products, review customer requirements for new products, and prepare accurate proposals.

  • Implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the company's revenue goals, prioritize customers, and market opportunities, and manage new accounts and key customer relationships to maximize sales.

  • Adhere to company sales and pricing guidelines.

  • Utilize all available resources and technical support.

  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and other business events to generate new business opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is a requirement, along with 7+ years of experience in product sales and/or business development.

  • Background in selling automation equipment to manufacturing markets is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of market research, customer needs, and pricing strategies

  • Ability to analyze and explain business processes, improvement opportunities, and applications.

  • Strong technical knowledge in the product line is a plus.

  • Mandatory requirement to travel within the territory and occasionally outside of it (approx. 50-75% travel schedule).

  • Advanced organizational skills.

  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.

  • Excellent communication (written, oral/presentations).

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
