Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Field Service Technician, with a specialization in Flow Drilling Joining Systems for our RSF products. As our representative, you will travel to various worksites and facilities, primarily in fast-paced automotive final assembly plants throughout North America, to provide exemplary customer service and perform preventative maintenance, repairs, process troubleshooting, and inspections on our RSF systems. This role offers extensive exposure to the world's best cutting-edge technology in action, making it an exciting and rewarding career for the right candidate.

To succeed in this role, you should have an extensive range of experience completing mechanical repairs and be proficient in reading schematics and operation manual tools. A strong aptitude for "root cause analysis" and "attention to detail" is essential for this role.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Travel to various worksites and facilities to provide on-site service and support for Flow Drilling Joining Systems RSF.

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on RSF systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with RSF systems, and implement appropriate solutions to resolve problems.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns, and provide appropriate solutions and recommendations.

  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and timely.

  • Maintain and manage inventory of parts and equipment needed for service and repairs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and best practices, and to continuously improve service delivery.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology, trends, and best practices in the field of Flow Drilling Joining Systems RSF, and share knowledge with the team.

  • Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

 

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED required, and three to five years related experience.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a mechanical or electrical field, with experience in Flow Drilling Joining Systems RSF highly preferred.

  • Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a strong understanding of schematics and manual tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

  • Ability to travel to various worksites and facilities, and work in a variety of environments and conditions.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively with a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, and the ability to always adhere to them.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
