Innovation in manufacturing is about more than developing new technology. It's about solving real production challenges, improving reliability, and helping manufacturers operate more efficiently. That's exactly what the WEBER SBM25 delivers.
We're proud to announce that the WEBER SBM25 has been named New Product of the Year at the ASSEMBLY Show! This recognition highlights the innovation behind a highly automated blind rivet nut and bolt installation system designed to minimize downtime and maximize process reliability in high-volume production environments.
The SBM25 features an automated mandrel change system that eliminates manual replacement of its primary wear component, helping reduce maintenance interruptions. Fastener feeding is also synchronized with the setting process, supporting cycle times as fast as five seconds.
Its laser-assisted alignment system ensures accurate fastener positioning, while integrated force and path monitoring verifies the setting process. Defective fasteners can be automatically ejected, helping prevent installation issues from moving further down the production line.
The SBM25 processes both round and hexagonal blind rivet nuts, as well as blind rivet bolts. Its dockable spindle system accommodates different fastener types and sizes, making it well suited for automotive, EV battery assembly, and other high-volume manufacturing applications.
With insertion forces up to 25 kN, a mechanical design rated for more than seven million cycles, and the ability to operate in any working direction, the SBM25 brings precision, flexibility, and reliability together in one highly automated solution.
