Weber Screwdriving Systems - Events for 2008

January 2008 marked the 25th Anniversary of Mr. Mike Rabasco starting with Weber Screwdriving systems Inc. This is a major milestone in Mike’s career at Weber and Mike was presented with a Plaque and Check in recognition of this significant event. We all congratulate Mike in this achievement and hope the next 25 years will be as rewarding and challenging.

New Training Center Opening

....

Weber USA announces the opening of their new training facilities at the Yorktown Heights facilities in New York this week. The training space allows many different forms of education to be done in the same venue, everything including new products, legacy products, Systems programming, applications testing, on-site service labs, General commercial procedures, employee product knowledge and sales methods training.The space will be starting it rapidly filling training schedule next week with the arrival of several key salesmen and managers from Wainbee Ltd, who is our sole distributions outlet in Canada.

In the photographs above we have started with our own staff ( seen here Matt Smith, Len Laurie, Tom Ash, and Toth Marrufo left to right ), and are developing the content and depth of the training systems.Tom Ash who was recently appointed the Training Manager, has control over the utilization of the space, and will be setting up, and planning events for our own staff, outside sales, regional distribution and representatives.

NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR THE USA MARKET

Recently, Weber USA has received some very important visitors from
our head office and manufacturing facility in Wolfratshausen, Germany. The
visitors are here to announce the position of President is being accepted by Jim Graham, formerly the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Our guests from Germany included the founder and owner of the
company Mr. Karl Heinz Weber, and the worldwide President Mr. Henry Sick

Improved sales, marketing and customer response are high on the list of
actions being implemented and a new, more efficient / faster delivery system
is being introduced to assure smoother customer deliveries.

Weber will also be launching several new products in the next 60 days, which
will show the market leading technology which many markets had been asking
for, over the last year. These products include Stepfeeders, Open platform DC system controllers and new miniature screwfeeding handpieces that will suit the light assembly and electronics markets.

The initiatives are only the start of a customer driven philosophy which
will see dramatic changes in the Outside & Inside Sales ( training and
support ) capabilities here at Weber USA, and the increase in support
inventory for existing customers products.

Market research will form an even more valuable part of the program with
constant and ongoing feedback from the customers and sales department of the
requirements of today's and future markets needs. If you have any
